Japanese city puts Vietnam beef noodle soup on school menu

The Japanese metropolis of Saijo served college college students Hue-style beef noodle soup for lunch this week as a part of efforts to deepen their understanding of Vietnam.

Bun bo Hue appeared on the menu at 35 elementary and junior excessive faculties within the metropolis in Ehime prefecture on April 26, Japanese newspaper NHK reported.

Metropolis mayor Toshihisa Tamai visited an elementary college on Tuesday and spoke to the scholars about Hue, which established pleasant relations with Saito in 2018.

Round 500 youngsters on the college selected the Vietnamese dish for lunch, Yahoo Information reported.

Bun bo Hue is a specialty of Hue, a former citadel in central Vietnam, the place it was invented. Saijo and Hue, a former citadel in central Vietnam, have had cultural and academic exchanges within the final 4 years.
